ANNUAL CHARITY FUNDRAISER – POSTPONED

Due to Unforseen Circumstances, we have made the decision to postpone this event until later in the calendar – details will be confirmed when we have them.

An alternative Competition will still be organised for Tuesday 11th March 2025 and details will be posted separately.

How do we decide who breaks?

From 2023, under the new international rules, the “Lag” will be used to decide the break in the first frame.

The decision was made that for the 2025 season the 1st player in your block of 8 will lag for the first frame. Players will alternate thereafter. This means you will be able to choose who gets to break in the second block of 8.

What are “Break Dish” and “Reverse Dish”?

What are “Break Dish” and “Reverse Dish”?

Break Dish: when a Player breaks off and completes a clearance without allowing the opponent to visit the table.

Reverse Dish: a Reverse Dish is when a player clears the table on their first visit to the table after their opponent’s break-off shot.
